Game 15 Scores

There were some surprisingly high scores for a short game day on a lazy Sunday.  Odds were, if you held one of the big 3 Bruins, you had a great chance at winning on this night.

3 Stars:
1) Marchand Bos 2G, 3A
2) Pastrnak Bos 5A
3) O’Rielly Stl 2G, 2A


In the first matchup of the night, although the Posse had the stinky LA goalies who let in a -2.5, they still received goals from a bunch of their players.  Unfortunately for the Posse though, the Oles had Bergeron who put up a very respectable 3 goals. That coupled with only a -0.5 from Chicago goalies propelled Oles to a 5.5 to 2.5 victory.


In round 2 of the famiglia cup, the Witch Doctors came into this one with one arm tied behind his back just to give the V Bombers a chance.  Unfortunately, for the Bombers, the Doctors opened up a can of whoop Pastrnak and vivid memories of the childhood beatings Bombers used to take from the Doctors as a youth flooded back.  This one ends with the Doctors putting the Bombers to sleep 4 to 2.


You would have thought that the outcome of the Flash/Hackers game was kind of a foregone conclusion.  On the surface, the Flash’s lineup looked poised to steamroll the Hackers.  As the evening unfolded however, it became evident that the Hackers would be the only one doing the steamrolling.  With monster contributions from D. Strome and O’Rielly, Hackers win High Boy honours and whoop the Flash 8.5 to 4.


There was some bad blood between Wai’s Guys and the Dutchie team due to a low hit Brannstrom unleashed on Seabrook.  The result of the hit saw Seabrook unable to compete at game time even though the Dutchie manager resolutely kept him in the lineup.  Bad blood aside, the Dutchies were softer than the Leafs on Saturday night and lose this one 6 to 0.5.


After losing a close one on Saturday, the Idiots came into this game looking to get back in the win column.  Unfortunately for them though, 70% of the Killer B’s contributed points and even the Panthers exacting revenge on the B’s with 6 goals couldn’t help the Idiots in the end.  The Idiots have world class scoring with bottom tiered goaltending right now. Idiots lose another close one 4.5 to 3 falling.


Finally, in the Foundation vs Sting game, the Sting looked to have this one all locked up with early contributions from his multiple Oiler players, but Marchand had something to say about it.  On the back of the French Rat’s stellar 2 Goal, 3 Assist performance, the Foundation pull this one out of their arse.  Foundation win 3 to 2.
