Game 13 Scores

If you were able to avoid New Jersey goalies, or just have a positive score, odds are pretty good you were in the ‘W’ column for Game 13

The first game of the evening was extremely tight. Not because of the crazy amount of scoring, but because of the lack of scoring from both sides. Surprisingly, for the first time (as far as I can recount this season at least), a team’s only scoring came in the form of a minus 1 from their goalies. Posse squeeze one out over the scoreless Flash 0.5 to -1

One of the lucky winners of the New Jersey Goalie sweepstakes were the Hackers who were up against the sliding Doctors. Luckily for the Doctors, other than their goalies, the Hackers only registered points from one other player. Doctors find themselves back in the win column and have learned their lesson about gloating. Doctors defeat the Hackers 3.5 to -1

The V Bombers only show up about every once in 5 games and apparently, this happened to be one of those rare appearances. Unfortunately, for the high-flying Oles, he was the one who had to feel his wrath. Even with a -3 from Vegas goalies, the Bombers take this one to OT where, on the back of the one they call Leddy (2G, 1A), the V Bombers pull off the big Win!! Score 3 to 3 with Bombers winning in OT (Oles Eichel had 2A).

Luckily for the Foundation who drew the relatively hot Wai’s Guys, the pressure was off for most of the night, especially after the Buffalo shutout. Falling victim to the New Jersey flu, Wai’s falls to the Foundation 3.5 to -0.5.

Similar to the Foundation victory, the Killer B’s employ the same game plan with Buffalo goalies while being up against Sting’s New Jersey lump of coal. In the battle of who has the bigger Stinger, the Killer B’s pull this victory off 2 to -2.5.

So far this season, one of the cures for getting back into the win column seems to be playing against the toothless Dutchies. Even though the Idiots had 2 empty forward slots, they had a massive scoring night and absolutely demolish the Dutchies with the High boy honours taking it 7.5 to 1
