Game 10 Scores

For a Saturday Night, Game 10 saw some pretty low scores resulting primarily from goalies not doing their teams any favours.

Although they had a slow start to the season, the Idiots seem to be coming into mid-season form receiving contributions from the majority of their players. With notable performances from Dallas goalies and Morgan Rielly, the Idiots trounced the Posse 5.5 to 2.5

In the battle of the basement dwellers, the game was exactly as it was billed. A definite cure for insomnia! Hackers only received contributions from 2 players, whereas the B’s had points from about 5. This one ended 3 to 1.5 in the Killer B’s favour.

The Stingless Sting took on the V Bombers who were riding high coming into this one with their longest winning streak of the season, at a stellar 1 game. Unfortunately for the bombers, a return to their usual form was inevitable and as such, they rolled over nicely. Sting overcome a minus 2 from Boston Goalies to ground the VB’s 2.5 to 0.

The new big cheese this season AKA: Oles were up against one of the other supposed big boys in the Foundation. In the early going, the Foundation got out to a 1.5 lead thanks to Weber finally showing up, but unfortunately the lead was short lived thanks to Tampa’s allowing 6 goals and Oles getting points from half of his team. Oles kick the Foundation’s ass 2.5 to 0

Speaking of cures for insomnia, did you get a whiff of the Flash and Wai’s Guys game? If not, you’re one of the lucky ones. Wai outscored the Flash 3 to 2 however, unfortunately for Wai, his goalies delivered a swift kick to the family jewels right before the finish line by allowing 5 goals. The Flash take advantage and bring this one home 1 to 0.5

Finally, in the Dutchies Vs Witch Doctors game, both teams saw balanced scoring, receiving contributions from several players. The major difference again, was goaltending with the Dutchies temping the young Carter Hart and the Flyers who allowed 4 goals. The minus 2 was just too much for the Dutchies to overcome and the Witch Doctors claim yet another victim with their Voodoo Hoodoo. Doctors win 2.5 to 1.5
