Pregame Commentary

What was that saying again.  Oh yes 'We have to win there is no way we want to be down 3 to 0'.  No rest for the next few nights as we  have 4 games in 4 nights.  Who will come out on top and who is going golfing.  The odds makers are scurrying around a bit looking under every rock for excuses reasons for why their predictions were wrong.  

Our first game features the Flash Vs Oles.  The series is tied and on this short night the line up looks interesting.  Apparently the Oles is mulling over his choices as he has changed his original line up  4 times.  Next up is Posse VS Sting.  It is not looking good for the Sting team who are sporting a short line up as the Posse have brought out the hammer in guise of Kucherov and Hedman.  Hackers and WG have interesting line ups for this night.  We are wondering if the WG are a little nervous as they adjust their initial line up.  Last up is the VB vs WD40.  Having performed the necessary ritual the Witch Doctors insert Jamie Benn into their line up.  In some circles they are mutterings about the miraculous recovery from a serious UBI by Benn.  The VB camp has been tight lipped about the rumours as they prepare for tonight's game

Posse .5 Sting 2.5 Again the Sting team spot the Posse two no shows but with true grit the Sting team climb back into this series with a dramatic win.

Hackers 4 WG 4.5  The WG were sporting a couple of injuries on this short night but manage to pull this one out to get back into the series.

VB 3 WD 5  The witch doctors spell failed to help Benn so he inserted White into his line up who responded with an assist.  This combined with a Florida melt down led to his victory and a commanding lead in the series.

Oles 1 Flash 4.5  The Oles with a short squad (someone got his stone back) and Vegas being a no show for half the game lead to his down fall.  Flash was full measure for the win with help from third Star Rask and his stellar goal tending against the league leading Tampa Bay team.

Post Game Commentary

The experts were quick to point out the injuries and bad goal tending decided some key games tonight.  When asked about the Witch Doctors and VB series they seemed to be hesitant in their explanation.  Ultimately they said we thought this would go the distance and expressed confidence it still could.  We have three tight series and tonight's game 4 it will be crucial for all teams to get the win.

Witch Doctors voodoo magic is strong, I'm going to have to try practicing some hoodoo magic to counter it and get me to Game 5
