Game 12 Scores

Although as a collective, team scoring was pretty average, in general, the games from last night were very exciting and close. If there’s anything the last few games have taught us, it’s that there’s more parity in the AHL this year than in years past.

In the Cugino (cousin) Bowl, the older, wiser and more grizzled cousin Posse reminded the Bombers of the family pecking order. Lead by Draisaitl’s 2 Goals and one Assist, the Posse defeat the Bombers easily and win 2.5 to 1.5


Game 2 featured the only negative score of the night thanks largely to Les Habitants’ -2 and only one assist from one lonely Hacker. Another stroll in the park for the Oles on this night as his 2.5 was more than enough to overcome the Hacker’s meager -1.5


Game 3 aka: Karma part deux saw the heating up Flashers pitted against the Witch Doctors in what was the highest scoring game of the evening. The Doctors were looking good with a shutout from their goaltenders, but with a flex of their cruel muscles, the Hockey Gods provide the Flash with a strong and excellent scoring attack which proved too much to handle for the BS Voodoo. Flashers take the highboy honours and the ‘W’, winning 4.5 to 4


In the only upset of the night, the bumbling Idiots let a close one slip through their fingers. Wai you might ask? Well, that’s exactly the reason…Wai! Both teams’ goaltending teams only produced a -0.5 for their respective teams, but you know it’s destiny when your goaltender gets an assist on the night. That, and 2 Goals from Schenn propel Wai’s past the Idiots 2.5 to 1.5


In tonight’s bottom billing, the Dutchies and Sting squared off in a dark alley. Luckily for the Dutchies, a dark alley is just what the (Witch) Doctors ordered as they are finally able to stop their slide. The Sting actually produced a very respectable score of 3, but the Dutchies lead by one of the dirty Tkachuk brothers, could not be denied. Dutchies win a very close game 4 to 3


Luckily for the Foundation, not even a crappy -2 from their goaltenders could keep them from greatness on this night. Main reason for their win, was the even crappier -3 Killer B’s Panthers put up. Not even a stellar 3 point performance from the one Connor Mac could save the B’s on this night. Foundation wins 2 to 0.5
