The third and fourth cycles of games are now up and available for entry (up to game 44). I also set transactions to sort by most recent first so that the latest ones appear immediately on page one and go in reverse order of date. Thanks ... Gordon

Game 44 Scores

on Tue Jan 01, 2019 7:54 pm
Happy New Year to the GM's of the AHL!!!

The Dutchies close out 2018 with a huge moral victory, pulling one out on the first place V Bombers 5 to 4. The night started out disastrous, as the Dutchies decided to temp head to head goalies, which put them down by 1 early (would have been more if it wasn't for a Holtby assist). Dubois and Tkachuk lead the way with 2,2 each. Bombers still hold a 5 point lead atop the standings. Series was split.

The Oles came came out firing on all cylinders and the Flash didn't know what hit them. Led by former Dutchie Johnny Hockey (again) the Oles clobbered the Green Machine 9 to 1, and left the team from overseas crying in their beer. Oles are looking to start another streak and ride it all the way to the top. Series split.

Hackers and Killer B's were close.......too close for comfort. Goalies were the difference here, as Edmontlon posted a -2, while NYI (thanks to another goalie assist), posted a 0. Final score was 4 - 2, and the Hack Attack are on a 7 game unbeaten streak, while the B's have hit one short of a dozen straight losses. Hackers sweep.

Speaking of streaks, the Hart Foundation is on a doozy, as they have now lost 7 straight, falling to the Wai's Guys 3 to -1. not a pretty night as SJ was a -4, and Wai was led once again by Phil Kessel and his 1,2. Wai's Guys Sweep.

Posse smashed the Sting by a final of 7 to 2.......tough night for the Sting as his TB and WPG players were very quiet, and once again the Posse had a balanced scoring attack. Posse sweep.

Finally, the Bullies were looking to keep pace with the young Jester squad and did so thanks to a 5 assist night for Monohan. Final score was 4.5 to 2.5 and the Bullies are now tied with the Idiots, 3 points up on the Sting for the final play off spot. Series was split.

Busy week boys, as we have B2B2B2B games this weekend, playing every night Thursday - Sunday.
