Well ladies, your favorite scorekeeper is back.....and just in time too.......
Hart Foundation was looking to extend their lead at the top of the standings and went in heavily favored over the flailing Hack Attack. Things looked bleak early on, as TB goalies continued their struggles giving up a 5 spot. Fortunately for the Hart's, the Hackers were forced to take their second choice in goaltender due to a Carolina pick up earlier on in the week, and NJ gave up 4. Single points littered both line ups, but Aho took the reigns for the current holder of the top spot putting up 2,1 pushing the Foundation to a 2.5 to 1.5 victory.
In a battle of the Jugger-NOTS, the Dutchies were trying to avoid the embarrassment of losing to the Bombers for a second straight time. This one was over early with the Dutchies pounding the VB's into submission by a score of 5 to 1.5. Anders Lee finally woke up with 1,2 and the Dutchies also got multi point games from Dubois and Mantha. VB's maintain a stranglehold on the basement, while the King or Oranje stays within 3 points of a playoff spot.
The Witch Doctors are thinking of changing their names back to the Bullies, as they can't seem to kick the luck the name brought them last season. Planning a rebuild, this ragtag bunch of ex Oles continue to win, despite their GM's desperate attempt to reign them in with threats of trades and suspensions. The Wai's Guys put up a very good fight, but in the end, the Doctors Voodoo magic proved too strong with a 4.5 to 3 victory. Maybe the Doctors need to get into a buying mood......
The next game featured a movie remake, with Walter Matthau impersonating the Posse GM and Jack Lemmon playing the part of the KB's GM. Grumpy Old Men 3, will be going straight to DVD, but the KB's took home Ann-Margret this time around with a 5-2 slap sticking. This feud is far from over, but the win leapfrogged the Killers over the Posse in the standings, lead by whatever the hell a Roope Hintz is (2,0).
As Dallas goaltending finally starts to come around, so does the fortunes of the hard luck Idiots, who took on the high powered Oles offense. Some of the Oles starts decided to go out drinking the night before instead of taking their kids out trick or treating, and the Jesters took advantage. 3 lonely assists were all the Oles could muster, while the Idiots pulled the old Steeltown beating on them with Hamilton (0,3) leading the way. Final was 4.5 to 1.
Finally, its a good thing the Sting put in 5 temp goalie choices, cause 4 out of the 5 are currently owned in the AHL. It just so happened that Washington was a popular (and productive) choice last night. Unfortunately for them, the Flash brought their A game and were part of a 3 way high boy night. (Hey, it's not gay if it's in a 3-way............ just ask Lonely Island and Lady Gaga...........If you don' get that reference, we cannot be friends and you will not be getting a dick in a box for Christmas). Flash pull out the guns and whoop the Sting 5-2, moving themselves into a tie for 4th with the Killer B's.
Highboy tie goes to the Flash, Killer B's and Dutchies with a 5.

Aho CAR - 2,1 - Hackers are petitioning to have his name changed to Sebastard A-hole after ruining his night
Hintz DAL - 2,0 - Maybe the KB's weren't crazy for throwing out a $2.00 bid in the early part of the draft for him - Dutchies and Idiots are wishing they had better foresight.....
Lee NYI - 1,2 - might have been other better players on this night, but screw you guys, I'm the scorekeeper and I need a guy in the 3 stars for once!!!
Since the previous 2 scorekeepers did not keep track of streaks, I'm starting fresh under my reign of terror. I don't have the energy to go back and check the past scores.
