Game 43 Scores

Second last game of the calendar year, and only one small change in the standings.

Wai's Guys have a big night against the Hart Foundation thanks to Kessel's 3 assists and Couture's 2 goals. Wasted effort for the Hart, as Kase puts up 2 for naught. Wai's Guy's handily defeat the Foundation 5.5 to 2.5. Trooper played the halftime show and played We're Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time by request for the Harts.

Last night was more famine than feast for the Sting, as they could only muster a goal against the streaking Posse. Tied highboy on the night pounded the hapless Sting 6 to -0.5 and are on a 4 game streak. What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more...........

In the Streak Game, the Hackers continued their winning ways, taking out the KB's 4.5 to 2. the B's put up a good fight, but got killed due to Edmonton Goalies. Who says the best defense is a good offense? Nobody, that's who. Hackers are on a 6 game unbeaten streak, while the KB's loss streak hits double digits. Blaze of Glory was heard blaring from the Killer B's dressing room prior to the game.

The Bullys have Tom Petty on repeat, cause he's Free Fallin', and only remain in playoff contention thanks to the Sting matching them loss for loss. Idiots take it 3.5 to 1.5 thanks to Barzal's hat trick. Bullies star studded line up were mostly no shows, and his goalies gave up 5. Idiots take sole possession of 7th, while the Bullies hold a 1 point lead over the Sting for the final spot.

The Oles had their 8 game win streak snapped as they got Kaned by the Flash. Oles had scoring from 8 of 10, including a goal and 3 assists from some guy named Karlsson (ahem), but Anaheim gave up a 5 spot and the Flash were lead by the trio of Kane, Barkov and Radulov. Flash tie for high boy and beat up their bestie 6-3.5. No friendship bracelets were exchanged on this night, but they the Flash did serenade the Oles with a rousing rendition of You've Got a Friend in Me.

Finally, the V-Bees did what they do, and destroyed the Dutchies 5.5 to 1.5. Tom Cochran had a live performance after the game in the Dutchies dressing room and performed just 1 song..........Sinking Like a Sunset. Very fitting. Lots of spread out scoring from the Bombers.
