Game 42 Scores

It seems like the Christmas hangovers are done.

Let's start with the Hackers / Hart battle,  where the Foundation was looking to avoid the sweep.  This game was much closer, but the Hart couldn't muster enough offense, and the Hackers put got just a little more production.  Hackers sweep the series, taking game 2 2.5 to 2, and move into third place.

Bully's wiped away their tears after the last game and put forth a much stronger effort.  Unfortunately, most of their points came from assists, and the Oles, lead by a Johnny Hockey hat trick pulled out the win and the brooms, winning this one 5-3 and continuing on an 8 game win streak.  Ole, if I hear you whine about our trade one more time, I'm gonna staple your nut sack to a rabid squirrel..............

Sweeps night continues as the Posse lay a beating on the Flash 6.5 to 2.5.  Both teams goalies were terrible, and unfortunately for the Flash, Kane's Hatty was overshadowed by 8 of 10 Posse players scoring lead by Kutchie's 1,3.  Posse Sweep, Flash fall to 4th.

The VB's managed to keep their 7 point lead atop the AHL with anther win over the KB's.  This time the final was 3.5 to 2.  Goalies let down the Killer Bee's, while the Bomber's assisted them to death.  Another sweep.....

The Wai's Guys looked to end their losing skid and get back in the win column.  Idiots took the last game handily, but this was a much tighter defensive effort.  At the end of the day, Wai's Guys prevail 3 to 2.5, with Phil the Thrill's 2,1 being the difference maker.  Series was split.

Finally, after last games embarrassment, the Dutchies and Sting put up a much more entertaining contest.  The Sting's feast or famine line up style was all meat and potatos tonight thanks to the TB / Philly game.  Final score was 5.5 - 2, and the series was split.
