Talk about high scores on a short game night! This one had firepower galore and was entertaining as hell! There were upsets and down-sets and everything in between.
3 Stars:
1) Eichel 2G 2A
2) Horvat 3G
3) DeAngelo 2G
The first game of the night saw the Foundation finally snap out of their Thanksgiving food coma and piledrive the Posse in a good old fashioned beat down. Foundation take this game 5 to 0.5
In the first of two upsets on the night, the Hackers overcome a -1.5 from their goalies, score a bunch of goals and stun the Idiots with a Stone Cold Stunner for the win. Hackers take it 3 to 1.5.
Wai’s Guys had a great scoring night, but unfortunately for the other competitive AHL teams, it was wasted on the dainty V Bombers. Lead by Horvat’s spectacular 3 goal performance, Wai scores an impressive 4.5 to 2 victory over the (Bombing) Bombers
The new terror of the league, the Mighty Oles man handle the Sting on the back of Carlson and Eichel who both had spectacular showings (this is a recording). By the time this one was said and done, the Sting barely had the chance to blink before it was over (this is starting to sound like my honeymoon). High boy Oles win again 5.5 to 1.
In the Flash vs. Dutchies game, neither team scored very much. The difference came down to their goalies and who had the fewer amount of goals against. The winner as a result of his goalies only letting in 3 goals were……the Flash! Flash squeeze this game out 1 to 0!
In the second upset of the night, the Killer B’s surprised the Voodoo Doctors. After taking exception to the Doctors barking about how he could not be defeated, the B’s press the button on the Doctor’s shock collar and bring him back down to earth with a resounding thud. I guess you could say the Doctors choked like a chicken. The hockey Gods' applause of approval could be heard round the world…B’s win this close one 5 to 4
