Pregame Hype
The odds makers have been busy and are finally ready.
Posse Sting Series
This was the easiest series for the odds makers as it Features the Posse and the leagues leading scorer against the Sting a team that has been cold coming into the playoffs. Favourite for this one Posse.
Hackers Wais Guys series
Now this one had the odds makers working overtime. Both teams have had a series of injuries to key players. Most of the players are back but it has made reading their teams a bit difficult. This one is so close we are calling it a Pick'm.
VB WD series
Despite the name change back luck has been Dogging the WD. Just in McDavid gets the gate for two games. These were the two favourites at the start of the season and the rest of the league is happy one of them will be knocked out in the first round. The odds makers are giving the Edge to the VB and it is a small one.
Oles Flash series
This was a less challenging one for the Odds makers. Oles is healthy and the leagues scoring champion is relatively healthy. Since the Oles seemed to be doing the big fade at the end of the regular season the Odds makers are giving the nod to the Flash. Question is has the Oles manged to steal a certain stone for luck. We shall see.

Posse 6 Sting 1 Posse wins this one handily
Hackers 5.5 WG 2 Hackers went out in front early and Voracek closed the door in some late game heroics
VB 3 WD 5 This was a close one with the WD out in the lead early and the VB kept coming on till Nasville goalies laid an egg. You got it the difference was in the goaltending
Oles 3.5 Flash 5 The league's scoring champ came to play and the Oles put up one of their better efforts recently but the Flash come away with the victory.
Post Game
This night the experts found mix results. Posse and Flash as expected won their games in bold fashion. The WD surprisingly without McD managed to pull this one out. Hackers got outstanding work from a couple of guys and came away with the victory. Tough start for the WG.
