The third and fourth cycles of games are now up and available for entry (up to game 44). I also set transactions to sort by most recent first so that the latest ones appear immediately on page one and go in reverse order of date. Thanks ... Gordon

SF Game 1 Scores Empty SF Game 1 Scores

Fri Mar 08, 2019 8:29 pm
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, welcome to the Semi Finals of the 2019 AHL Playoffs where family ties and years of friendship are thrown out of the window for the chance to win the prestigious AHL Cup!

The first games are in the books and while there was some pretty decent scoring in one of the games, the other low scoring game was a bit of a snore fest.

3 Stars:

1) Huberdeau 2 G, 1 A
2) Marchand 3A
3) Bergeron 2 G

Here are the results from Game 1:

Oles Vs. Hackers

While the first game of any playoff series is usually about feeling out your opponent, unfortunately, the message got lost in translation as the Ole’s team couldn’t pull themselves away from feeling themselves up…repeatedly! With only Captain Toews producing a point on this night, the Hackers easily sliced through the Oles 3.5-0.

While the Hackers drew first blood, the Oles were seen this morning getting stitched up in the infirmary and watching videos for their next game Saturday night

Hackers Lead Series 1-0

Posse Vs. Witch Doctors

In the Cugino bowl, despite resistance from both sides to engage in a fight to the death, a spell of unmentionable black magic was used to make sure this one ended in the WD’s favour. Although the Posse boasted 2 of last night’s three stars in his lineup, the rest of his star-studed lineup was unusually quiet.

The score ended 5-3 in favour of the WD’s, but earlier today, the Posse was reportedly seen in a Toronto library reading up on voodoo magic spell reversals. Will it pay off for game two? Only one way to find out…

Witch Doctors Lead Series 1-0
